In addition to promoting smart, responsive websites, Digital Services also supports mobile app use on campus in two main ways:

carolinago-logoWorking with a student advisory team, Digital Services manages the Kurogo platform that powers the CarolinaGO app. Developed in 2014 as an app “for students, by students,” CarolinaGO now boasts 13,000+ downloads. The app includes everything from dining menus and hours to a real-time transit tracker to maps that will help you find buildings, inclusive spaces and more! To download the app visit the iTunes or Google Play store.

These are the central accounts that allow departments on campus to publish apps for “sale” in the public app stores as well as manage ad hoc distribution for in-house apps. Given the size of our campus and the number of requests we receive for app account access, we have established procedures for those wishing to use the accounts. Please contact Michael Triplett for details.
